About Me
I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the US at the age of 15. Since then, I have lived a life immersed in diversity. I have learned what it feels like to be perceived based on others’ preconceptions. I have come to understand that assumptions are closely aligned with the viewer’s perception of the world and not, necessarily, with the nature of the person being viewed. Through countless encounters with differences, I have come to appreciate the unfathomable diversity within each individual, which makes our stories truly unique. Above all, I have discovered that beneath our visible and hidden differences, there is always a common thread that brings us together and creates a sense of belonging.
In our therapeutic journey together, I hope we will establish that sense of connection. And if you allow me, I would like to support you through your journey of reorganizing your experiences, finding and establishing new meanings, recognizing your incredible resilience, and liberating yourself from old patterns.
